The New ABAA E-Commerce Website
The ABAA has teamed with Bibliopolis and Biblio.com to create a full-featured, e-commerce website with a robust search engine, user-friendly shopping cart, and easy-to-use tools.To assist the ABAA in promoting the new Website, Bibliopolis and Biblio.com will contribute 1/12 of gross listing fees annually to the Website advertising budget. Additionally, $5 per month of members listing fees will be earmarked for this purpose. Below are the details necessary to get started listing your inventory. In the event that the number of Members subscribing exceeds an average of 300 per month during a calendar year, then each member with active listings will get a free month.
What Does it Cost?

Credit Card Processing
All online credit card transactions on the ABAA site will be processed by Biblio.com on ABAA's behalf in accordance with PCI Data Security Standards. Members will be paid for credit card sales via Direct Deposit (U.S. banks only) on the 1st and 15th day of each month. - Fee schedule for credit card processing: 4.5% of the first $500.00 of each transaction, 3% of the transaction amount exceeding $500.00.
- Fees for credit card processing and Monthly Fees will be automatically deducted from payments issued to Members.
How Do I Sign Up?
You sign up for the new ABAA Website by creating a BiblioDirect Account. Click the "Sign Up Now" button to begin this registration process (current Biblio.com members need only login to their account to complete the ABAA registration.
- A BiblioDirect Account does not obligate you to list your books on Biblio.com or any other site (you can list on the ABAA site only, if you choose).

Selling Books Through Your Own Website
Buyers will have the option to purchase from a dealer's own standalone website. To have a link appear next to your book title that allows a sale to go through your own website, your website must: - have an individual "Book Details" page for each book with a consistent URL that uses the book id number as the key component.
- have a standalone shopping cart system with an SSL encrypted checkout page.
- be able to include a tracking code on the receipt page that reports that a sale has occurred that was referred by the ABAA website. Code will be supplied (this is so we will be able to accurately track all sales originating from the ABAA website).
