The ABAA Welcomes New Members to the Association

Full Membership:

Luke Bilberry started his career as an apprentice to Oscar Graham and Herman Detering before moving on to manage 12th Street Books.  He has since become sole proprietor of the store and is looking forward to focusing his trade on general rare and antiquarian books.  Be sure to visit his open shop if you are ever in Austin, TX.

Dennis M.V. David will be known to many for his long time associate membership at Justin G. Schiller, Ltd.  His business, Battledore, Ltd., focuses on the works of Maurice Sendak, Original Illustration Art, and Propaganda, specifically Chinese.  He also has a background in book binding and restoration.



Joshua Mann and Sunday Steinkirchner are the owners of B & B Rare Books in New York City.  They decided to pursue careers in the book world soon after graduating college in 2003, and have since set up a business that specializes in 19th and 20th Century American and English Literature, and Signed & Presentation copies.  They are excited to be among the youngest members, and hope to work with the ABAA to encourage a new generation of booksellers.





Chet Ross entered into a second career as bookseller after spending 35 years as an applied designer and university professor.  His interests lie in Voyages and Travel, particularly within the Polar Regions.  He is currently writing a bibliography of significant works published by or about Lieutenant Nobu Shirase and Japanese Antarctic Expeditions of 1910-1912.  Chet can be found in Southworth, WA.
