Kenneth Karmiole, Kenneth Karmiole Bookseller, Inc.
Ken Karmiole of Santa Monica, CA got his start in the trade in 1970. By 1972 he had established his own business, Kenneth Karmiole Bookseller, Inc., and became an ABAA member in 1976. Ken is currently on the Board of Governors and serves as Membership Committee Chair. Ken is also an active alumnus at UCLA, where he received his masters in library science. In 2002 he endowed the Karmiole Fellowship, which each year supports one student in the study of rare books and manuscripts, and in 2006 Ken established the Kenneth Karmiole Endowment for Rare Books and Manuscripts, which supports the acquisition of special collections throughout UCLA's libraries.
Kenneth Karmiole Bookseller, Inc. specializes in Early Printing, Travel, History of Printing, Science and Technology, and Incunabula.
